Dragonsinn Monthly Recap – June 2026

Recap post for June 2026: Dragonsinn Year 27 updates, thrift‑store dragon finds, and early eco‑poetry chapbook thoughts.

Dragonsinn turned 27 in mid-June 🎉

I managed to get a few posts out with July’s move approaching…and realistically, I may or may not have time to blog during the next several weeks.

With this week’s heat wave (ew), I stayed mostly indoors today and finished one more post in between moving-related tasks.

P.S. If you’d like to follow these monthly recaps, you can subscribe via RSS or Bluesky.

  • Poetry:
    • I noticed in my YouTube dashboard that some people found my channel by searching for “poems about nature and the environment.”
    • That reminded me of the eco‑poetry chapbook I drafted months ago.
    • I may publish those poems here on Dragonsinn, with some anchor dragon imagery, since my personal blog has been feeling more like a way station lately.
  • YouTube:
    • I enjoyed making the Dragonsinn: Year 27 video, and an updated channel trailer.
    • I don’t love filming in the summertime, but if I see something interesting I won’t say no (though I’ll grumble about the humidity).
  • Blog:
    • I have a few “collectibles” posts in mind.
    • Recently I found some great dragon thrift store type of finds. A few are damaged and I’m gonna try and DIY rehab their broken wings.
    • As mentioned at the start of this post, I’ll be moving quite soon. Keeping fingers crossed that the internet will be installed smoothly 🛜

Thanks for reading.
