Enchanting picture book dragon art by my illustrator sister, Charlene Chua!

In another long overdue post buried in my drafts, here’s a selection of delightfully enchanting dragon art illustrations by my sister, Charlene Chua!

Short Bio

Charlene Chua (she/they) has illustrated many things over the years for kids of all ages. Her work has won several illustration awards, and her second author/illustrator book, The Pink Pajamas, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2025.

Charlene was born and grew up in Singapore, and moved to Canada in 2007. When she is not making art, she enjoys cooking, reading, and playing with her cats. She now lives with her husband (and cats!) in Hamilton, Ontario.
