Update: New Email Subscriber Platform

New email subscriber platform via follow.it, and how to set your subscription options (email notification, RSS feed, mobile updates, etc.).

Hello everyone,

I hope you’ve been having a great start to 2025!

Newsletter Platform Update

I enjoyed using WordPress.com last year to handle the Dragonsinn newsletter.

However, it was still taking up a chunk of time.

I paused on most of my hobbies in Q4 of last year to rethink what to focus on and how to streamline certain things.

What’s the New Platform?

NOTE: All current subscribers have been imported to the new platform, so there’s nothing you need to do to continue getting Dragonsinn.net updates.

I was looking for an RSS feed option, as I don’t like bogging my website down with unnecessary plugins.

I believe I used Feedburner a very long time ago on one of my websites. However, it didn’t have robust email management features.

So I decided to try follow.it.

A few reasons why I liked this Feedburner alternative:

  • Subscribers get an automatic notification when new posts are published
  • Additional features for subscribers. For example, you can choose to get blog updates via email, Telegram, news page, Chrome extension, or mobile alerts (with other options to follow soon)
  • You can choose your preferred delivery channels, notification frequency, and define filters on your Dragonsinn subscription page

What Else is Going On?

I caught up with the remaining months left from last year’s 25th website anniversary monthly celebrations.

It was done in a bit of a rush, but I wanted to at least finish the whole series.

You can view those in the recently published first post of 2025:

I’d also like to focus on getting some dragon poetry and printables done this year.

I’ll share more about that in the next post ๐Ÿ“

As always, I love to hear about creative and other projects that Dragonsinn subscribers and visitors are working on.

Feel free to let me know what you’re working on anytime!
