That’s the small announcement.
Below are some thoughts behind this decision.

Why move the poems here?
Some of the first pieces on the new page were previously published eco‑poems that lived on my personal blog.
I know the conventional online marketing method, or common sense advice, is to have separate platforms for separate areas of focus (Dragonsinn for dragons, another site for non‑dragon work, etc.).
But my poetry and chapbooks‑in‑progress aren’t exactly conventional.
Recently I’ve been feeling like having everything under one roof. It’s easier to maintain, more cohesive for future projects, and honestly, Dragonsinn receives far more poetry visitors than my personal blog.
Since Dragonsinn is where my earliest dragon research (and some early poems) began back in the late 90s, it feels right to let the “other” poems share the space.
What are the “other” topics?
I’ve written a smattering of crime, gothic, and speculative poems here and there.
There were a few years where I was almost exclusively writing just flash fiction and short stories, although it recently shifted back to poetry. I like the short-form style of poetry and am likely to keep my focus here for now.
Newer themes I’d like to explore include:
- romance (maybe)
- intergenerational trauma or memory
- eco-poetry part 1: environmental destruction
- eco-poetry part 2: nature’s positive effects
- ruins or abandoned places (a concept I haven’t written much about yet)
These are separate from my newer dragon poetry collection(s), and the legacy dragon poems (featuring my earlier work, and contributors or other writers), both of which remain dragon‑focused.
Free or paid?
I’m planning to offer both free and paid options.
Paid options are likely to be via PayHip (ebook / PDF), and BookVault or a similar platform for a print version.
I like to keep things simple, low-stress, and low-drama, so this is the option I have been circling back to.
Alongside Dragonsinn, I may narrate most of the poems and upload them to the YouTube channel.
